Is TakeTurnz free?
Yes. Creating an account, adding a resource, sharing it and booking is completely free. TakeTurnz Pro (€2/month or €19/year) unlocks unlimited resources.
Does my family need an account to book?
No. Only you, the resource owner, log in. Your family opens your share link or scans the QR code and books directly with their name — no account needed.
What can I book with TakeTurnz?
Anything you share and take turns using: summer cabin, trailer, camper, caravan, boat, car, guest apartment, tools or a party venue.
Can I see the bookings in my own calendar?
Yes. Each resource has a calendar subscription (iCal) that you add to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook — the bookings then show up automatically among your own.
What happens if two people book the same weekend?
TakeTurnz clearly warns about double bookings and marks clashing days in the calendar, but does not block them — you decide for yourselves whether to share the weekend.
Can we split the costs for the cabin?
Yes, with TakeTurnz Pro. Add a cost (electricity, insurance, cleaning), choose how to split it — equally, per night or per booking — and TakeTurnz works out who owes what. You can tick off who has paid and publish the settlement so everyone can see it.
What is included in TakeTurnz Pro?
Unlimited resources (the free account holds 3), fair cost splitting between those who booked, and a combined calendar feed with all your resources in one. €2/month or €19/year (best value).
